Leg 1 of this ferried flight from France to California has us flying from Tarbes France to Prestwick Scotland. It's about a 2.5-3 hour flight depending on winds and we'll plan on flying at FL220 unless weather dictates otherwise. Tarbes is home to Daher-Socata which produces the TBM9 and you can parking specifically for the TBM at Daher 1,2,3, and 4. Park at one of the specified locations and begin setting up your flight there.
Familiarize yourself with climb, cruise, and descent speeds for a more realistic flight. Climb out at 170kts/M0.4, cruise at 290 ktas and descend at 1500fpm. If you're unfamiliar with the 170kts/M0.4 notation for climb out then remember FL280 (Flight Level 28,000'). Below FL280, you will climb out at 170kts and above FL280, continue your climb at Mach 0.4. Once at cruise altitude, set your speed to 290 kias.
