Leg 2 of this ferried flight has us over our first stint of water from Prestwick to Reykjavík. Plan accordingly. Set an alternate. Check wind information, etc. This flight is well within the range of the TBM9 but don't forget proper flight planning. I've listed suggested a SID based on RWY 30 and STAR based on RWY 19 but plan accordingly because the suggested SID and STAR may not be applicable for the runway in use.
Take enough fuel for this flight because a majority of this route is over frigid water. EKVG (Váger Airport) located on the Faroe Islands, is a little less than midway to Reykjavik and can be a diversion point if something goes wrong or you realize you haven't planned for a enough fuel and BIVM offers an alternate landing about 60 nm from BIRK if weather turns and Reykjavick isn't suitable for landing.
